I feel dysphoric in dresses

But dresses are the only option

Mom says suit and tie will look stuffy

Floral bow tie is what I thought I landed on

But here are jumpsuits

Are they too femme

Will no one realise I’m a man

In a jumpsuit

Clothes supposedly have no

Gender but if that’s true why

Can’t I decide what

I want to wear to my senior prom

I like the look of dresses on hangers

But I put one on and feel out of place

I like the look of sweetheart necklines

But I put one on and feel small.

Formal jumpsuit

Formal floral dress jumpsuit

Not too business formal

But not informal

Not too conservative

But no neckline that would show

Breast tissue

Underneath

Not a three hundred dollar

Jumpsuit

That makes me feel like

A Ghostbuster

Formal jumpsuit

Pastel

Like the one Mary wore

Four years ago

Not one that hugs my neck

A year and a half later

I still can’t
